General

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a Cannabinoid found in Cannabis Sativa plants. Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning you will not get the “high” feeling that THC gives you. CBD has been around as long as the Cannabis Sativa plant has been, however, the scientific community is discovering new information regarding CBD on an almost daily basis. If you have never taken CBD, we recommend consulting with your primary health care provider.  Due to the fact that scientific CBD studies are in their infancy stage, no company can promise any results from CBD. What we can say is that customers have shared their stories with us about how Avid Hemp products have helped them in dealing with symptoms ranging from arthritis, anxiety, insomnia, back pain, and much more. Don’t just take our word for it, check out our 500+ 5 star reviews on google here. Try Avid Hemp CBD  today and see if it works for you!

No, Cannabidiol (CBD) is non psychoactive, therefore cannot get you.

According to a report done by the WHO https://www.who.int/medicines/access/controlled-substances/5.2_CBD.pdf  CBD in its pure form appears to be safe for pets. With that being said, CBD is processed by the liver, so if your pet has known liver problems we strongly recommend against administering CBD to them. As far as benefits go for pets, research is still in the preliminary phases so we are not allowed to make any claims. What we can say is that we have many happy customers that give CBD to their pets and have reported many different beneficial results to us! As always, we recommend consulting with your pet’s veterinarian before administering any CBD to them.

While our products are not USDA certified organic, at Avid Hemp, we pride ourselves in sourcing our CBD from farmers that grow with organic growing practices. On top of that, our products are consciously formulated in small batches with very simple ingredients, all of which are always listed on our labels

Here at Avid Hemp, we consciously chose to use CBD that is extracted via CO2 extraction. We chose this method after rigorous research because we believe it to be the cleanest form of extraction. There are many extraction methods on the market that we think are not as clean, such as butane or ethanol extraction. We have residual solvent testing done on our CBD  to ensure anyone consuming Avid Hemp CBD products are consuming clean and safe CBD products.

Our CBD is primarily from organically grown industrial Colorado Hemp. We sometimes source our hemp from California farms as well.

Becoming a distributor of our products is as easy as filling this form out. Once completed, one of our Avid Hemp CBD experts will contact you via your preferred contact method and let you know how to get going!

CBD studies are still in their infancy, so we cannot claim CBD is good for any specific ailment or disorder. What we can say is that we have heard countless stories, directly from our customers, noticing improvements in cases such as arthritis, back pain, anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, and much more. Check out our 500+ 5 star reviews on google here and let them speak for themselves!

On a federal level, CBD is 100% legal when extracted from industrial hemp thanks to the farm bill passed in 2018. Click here to see the bill for yourself! https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/2/text

With that being said, we always encourage you to check with your local municipality to see if they have any local laws regarding CBD or hemp products.

At Avid Hemp CBD, we pride ourselves in our superior quality. Conscious efforts are made during every step of the process, from seed to finished product, to produce the highest quality CBD products possible. It all starts with the farms we work with, all of which vouch to use organic growing practices. The hemp is then processed using c02 extraction, which we find to be the cleanest extraction method available. Once the CBD is extracted, we meticulously formulate all of our products with care and awareness to each and every ingredient going into them, resulting in truly superior CBD products. We also have 3rd party lab testing done on all of our products that you can view here! Don’t just take our word for our quality, check out our 500+ 5 star reviews on google here.

Here at Avid Hemp, we understand how complicated CBD may seem with all the different terms floating around. We are here to make CBD simple. The difference between Full Spectrum CBD, Broad Spectrum CBD, and Isolate CBD, can be explained by their names.

Full Spectrum- Any “full spectrum” products should be made from an extract of hemp that has not had any cannabinoids or terpenes removed from it. So, in theory, it is literally providing the full spectrum of benefits the hemp plant can offer. This also means there will be trace amounts of THC in full spectrum products.

Broad Spectrum- While there is no set definition, Broad spectrum is generally categorized as CBD plus other cannabinoids (such as CBN, CBG, CBC, etc.) and or terpenes. Thus providing a “Broad Spectrum” blend of different cannabinoids, ultimately opening the door for more potential benefits than just CBD Isolate alone. Avid Hemp’s Broad Spectrum products will have no THC in them.

“CBD Isolate” – Just as the name says, CBD Isolate is simply that, CBD, isolated from all the other substances found in hemp! After the initial extraction of the hemp plant, the CBD is isolated from all other cannabinoids and terpenes, which leaves us with a pure, white, crystalline powder that has no other cannabinoids in it or terpenes. Isolate products have no THC in them and are your safest bet if you have to pass a drug test.

Products

If our products are labeled as “Broad Spectrum” or “Isolate” you can be confident there is no THC in these products. If a product is listed as “Full Spectrum” there may be trace amounts of THC, all under the legal federal limit of 0.3% which makes them federally legal and is not enough to feel the psychoactive effects of THC. Click here to read about the differences between Isolate, Full Spectrum, and Broad Spectrum!
